3. Switch on automatic
authorization
mode on your
system controller
(«Auto Log-in»).
To set this mode on
Panasonic WV-CU550cj
system controller:
a. Go to page «

4» in system controller menu using «
3456
» navigation buttons,
placed in the right-upper corner (see device User’s manual).
b. Using
«F3»
functional key, placed under LCD-display, switch « Auto» to « Auto».
With such setup, any user will automatically log on
VideoNet
system after launching
under account, for which this security parameter is configured. And also system controller
automatic
authorization
will take place.
Attention! It is important to understand, that in this case you reduce your system security
and unauthorized access protection.
• If you want to restrict access of some system users to system controller:
1. Switch off the
Automatic logon
to the VideoNet system (if this security parameter was
set before, refer to
3.6.2.4
section).
2. Add users with the special digital format of
name
and
password
into system configuration
and assign to them a right of controlling the system using system controller (adding
users is described in
3.6.2.1
section).

supports the following format: two-digit
name
(for example, «02») and five-digit
password
(for example, «54321»).
This format depends on a
system controller
model (refer to a corresponding device
manual).

functional key, placed under LCD-display, switch « Auto» to « Auto».
Such setup enables user to log on the system and to perform system controller authorization
in two ways:
• You can enter name and password of “digital” user, who has access right to control the
system using system controller, on the system controller keyboard.
During that, it is necessary to configure also other system policies and access rights to
other devices for these users.
• You can if necessary (for example, for administering the system) log on the system using
standard computer keyboard. Then make system controller authorization by entering
under “digital” user’s name and password. Provided that such “digital user” is added to
system configuration and has the right to use system controller.
It is important to understand, that when entering the system from standard keyboard, for
example as «Administrator», and authorizing
system controller
as “digital” user, for
example «02», you will be in your system as user «Administrator» (that is you will have all
access rights to system functions and devices, which has «Administrator»).
• Setup of access to Panasonic WV-CU650 system controller and authorization in
the system
The system enables to set up system controller for working both in
automatic authorization
mode
for definite user and in
manual authorization mode
. Setup of
automatic authorization
mode
of system controller at most simplifies user log-on and begining of working with the
system. You can start working with the system immediately after switching on system
controller and launching
VideoNet
. In case of
manual authorization
you should enter user
name and his password in advance from the keyboard of system controller.

1. Into system configuration add user with the name, under which automatic authorization
from system controller will be performed. For example, add user with name «650»
(adding users is described in
3.6.2.1
section).
