Action
Description
Select the action, which must be performed by the system with arming state: to
arm
the system,
to
disarm
the system or to
change
a current
arming state
to an opposite one.
Algorithm of hardware control of the operability:
1. Reaction performing activates watchdog timer, placed on selected device.
2. Reaction finishing deactivates watchdog timer.
Hardware control of the operability is possible only after connecting Reset
pins of a controller to the Reset pins on motherboard.

VideoNet
system can be in one of two states: armed and disarmed. Arming system
can be performed both by an operator, pressing
Arm
button on the
mode panel
,
and by activating a system schedule reaction. In more detail «armed» system
state is described in
4.1.3
section.
You can add this
reaction
type to system
task
, if you want one of the actions to be
performed with
Arming
state: arming system, disarming system or changing
arming state.
You can configure reaction properties on
General
tab. Open reaction
Properties
dialogue box (see the
steps 1-3
of the algorithm of
3.7.2.8
section).

Controller
Description
Select controller, on which watchdog timer is placed, from the drop-down list
(if there is no necessary controller in the list, you should add it to system
configuration on the
Devices
panel, see
3.1.2.2
section).
You can add this
reaction
type to system
task
, if you want to switch hardware
control of the operability mode. You can configure reaction properties on the
General
and the
Interval
tabs.
You can add the
reaction
to system task with the
Time interval
event, in this case
you can specify time, during which hardware control of the operability must be
performed, in the event properties (there will be no
Interval
tab in this case). Or
you can add this
reaction
for any other event and configure time of operability
control on the
Interval
tab. Also you can set, if necessary, an
unlimited duration
for
this reaction activation – in this case the system will be perform
hardware control
of the operability
until you have finished working with the system. To do that, you
should select the
Unlimited duration
check-box on the
Interval
tab.
