Monitor – Extension/CO Line

The DX-80 system allows users to monitor conversations at other extensions for the purposes of service observance.
Monitoring of busy Extensions and CO Lines is possible only at extensions with a Monitor Class of Service that has
priority over the Monitor Class of Service of the extension to be monitored.

Since this feature is very similar to Intrusion, it is possible to “shift” between these two features when Monitor has

been invoked.

1.  Place a call to a busy extension or press a busy CO Line button.

the Mute function at your telephone is automatically activated, making the monitor condition as un-intrusive
as possible. The display indicates the internal extension that is being monitored.
