Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.
Description
If the master is physically disconnected or removed from the Virtual Chassis configuration,
the MAC persistence timer determines how long the backup (new master) continues to
use the address of the old master. When the MAC persistence timer expires, the backup
(new master) begins to use its own MAC address.
There are no minimum or maximum timer limits.
