Attenzione
Per ruotare le ghiere (3) e (4) di
registrazione del precarico utilizzare
solamente una chiave a settore.
Usare particolare cautela per evitare
che il dente della chiave possa
uscire improvvisamente dal vano
della ghiera durante il movimento.
Se ciò dovesse accadere, la mano
dell’utilizzatore potrebbe urtare
violentemente altre parti del
motociclo. Non utilizzare
assolutamente chiavi con dente
troppo piccolo o con impugnatura
troppo corta.
Attenzione
L’ammortizzatore contiene gas
ad alta pressione e potrebbe causare
seri danni se smontato da personale
inesperto.
Importante
Nell’uso con bagaglio
precaricare al massimo la molla
dell’ammortizzatore posteriore
per migliorare il comportamento
dinamico del veicolo ed evitare
possibili interferenze col suolo.
Ciò può richiedere l’adeguamento
della regolazione del freno idraulico
in estensione.
Warning
To turn the preload adjuster
nuts (3) and (4), only use a pin wrench.
Take care while turning the nut as the
pin of the wrench may suddenly slip
out the slot in the nut. This could
injure your hands. Never use a
wrench with a too small pin or with
a too short handle.
Warning
The shock absorber is filled
with high-pressure gas and can cause
injuries if inexpertly dismantled.
Important
If the motorcycle is to be ridden
with a pillion rider and luggage,
we recommend setting rear shock
absorber spring preload to the
maximum to ensure the best handling
and proper ground clearance at all
times. It may also be necessary to
adjust the rebound damping
accordingly.
