Sistema sospensione
posteriore
A forcellone oscillante in lega leggera
con ammortizzatore regolabile in
estensione, in compressione e nel
precarico della molla. Il forcellone
ruota intorno al perno fulcro passante
per il motore. Questo sistema
conferisce al mezzo eccezionali doti
di stabilità.
Per quanto riguarda le regolazioni
dell’ammortizzatore posteriore fare
riferimento alla Sezione D 4.
Smontaggio
ammortizzatore
posteriore
Svitare la vite (1) di fissaggio
ammortizzatore (3) al forcellone
posteriore, recuperando la rosetta (2).
Svitare la vite (1) di fissaggio
ammortizzatore (3) al telaio
recuperando la rosetta (2).
Revisione
ammortizzatore
posteriore
Prima di procedere allo smontaggio è
necessario misurare la lunghezza
precaricata della molla (L). La quota
rilevata dovrà essere ristabilita nel
rimontaggio.
Lunghezza STANDARD della molla
prevaricata:
190±1 mm.
Scomposizione ammortizzatore
posteriore
Allentare la controghiera (A) e la
ghiera (B) registro molla, utilizzando
una chiave a settore o attrezzi
specifici.
Rimuovere l'anello di ritegno (C) e
la molla (D).
Controllare visivamente
l'ammortizzatore ed individuare
eventuali perdite d'olio o altri
inconvenienti.
Sostituire l'ammortizzatore, se
necessario.
Ricomposizione
ammortizzatore posteriore
Inserire la molla nella custodia
dell'ammortizzatore con la parte
terminale conica rivolta verso
l'attacco inferiore.
Montare l'anello di ritegno (C) della
molla.
Avvitare la ghiera registro molla (B)
sino ad ottenere la lunghezza (L)
precedentemente misurata.
Rear suspension system
Lightweight alloy swingarm and shock
absorber with adjustable compression
damping, rebound damping and
spring preload. The swingarm pivots
on shaft which passes through the
engine. This system gives the
motorcycle excellent stability.
For adjustment of the rear shock
absorber, refer to Section D 4.
Removing the rear shock
absorber
Unscrew the bolt (1) securing the
shock absorber (3) to the swingarm
and recover the washer (2).
Unscrew the bolt (1) securing the
shock absorber (3) to the frame and
recover the washer (2).
Overhauling the rear
shock absorber
Before dismantling the shock
absorber, measure the spring preload
length (L). The same length must
be restored on re-assembly.
STANDARD length of preloaded
spring:
190±1 mm.
Disassembly of the rear shock
absorber
Slacken off locknut (A) and spring
adjuster nut (B) with a pin wrench or
special tool.
Remove the retaining ring (C) and the
spring (D).
Visually inspect the shock absorber
for oil leaks and other problems.
Renew the shock absorber if
necessary.
Reassembly of the rear shock
absorber
Fit the spring into its seat in the shock
absorber with the tapered end
towards the lower mounting.
Fit the spring retaining ring (C).
Screw in the spring adjuster nut (B) to
obtain the previously measured
length (L).
