osservare scrupolosamente il
programma di manutenzione ed i
tagliandi consigliati nel libretto di
garanzia. L'inosservanza di tali norme
esime la Ducati Motor Holding s.p.a.
da qualsiasi responsabilità per
eventuali danni al motore e sulla
sua durata.
Controlli prima
dell’avviamento
Attenzione
La mancata esecuzione delle
ispezioni prima della partenza può
causare danni al veicolo e procurare
lesioni gravi al conducente.
Prima di mettersi in viaggio
controllare i seguenti punti:
Carburante nel serbatoio
Controllare il livello del carburante
nel serbatoio. Eventualmente fare
rifornimento (Sez. C 2).
Livello olio nel motore
Controllare il livello nella coppa
attraverso l'oblò d'ispezione.
Eventualmente rabboccare con olio
prescritto (Sez. C 2).
Liquido freni e frizione
Verificare sui rispettivi serbatoi il
livello del liquido.
Condizioni pneumatici
Controllare la pressione e lo stato di
usura dei pneumatici (Sez. C 1).
Funzionalità dei comandi
Azionare le leve e i pedali di comando
freni, frizione, acceleratore, cambio e
controllarne il funzionamento.
Luci e segnalazioni
Verificare l'integrità delle lampade
d'illuminazione, di segnalazione e il
funzionamento del clacson. In caso di
lampade bruciate procedere alla
sostituzione (Sez. C 1).
Important
Throughout the running-in
period, be careful to stick to the
recommended maintenance
schedule and periodic service
intervals indicated in the warranty
booklet. Failure to comply with
these rules will release Ducati Motor
Holding S.p.A. from any liability
whatsoever for resulting engine
damage or shorter engine life.
Pre-ride checks
Warning
Failure to carry out these
checks before riding may result in
damage to the motorcycle and
serious injury to the rider.
Before starting, check the following
points:
Fuel level in the tank
Check the fuel level in the tank.
Fill the tank if necessary (Sect. C 2).
Engine oil level
Check the oil level in the sump
through the sight glass. Top up with
the recommended oil if necessary
(Sect. C 2).
Brake and clutch fluid
Check the fluid levels in the
respective reservoirs.
Tyres
Check the pressure and condition
of the tyres (Sect. C 1).
Controls
Operate the brake, clutch, throttle
and gear change controls (levers,
pedals and twistgrip) to check that
they function correctly.
Lights and indicators
Make sure the lights, turn signals
and horn work properly. Replace any
burnt-out bulbs with new bulbs of the
same rating (Sect. C 1).
