Smontaggio cavalletto
laterale
Svitare le due viti (2) di fissaggio della
piastra (3) di supporto cavalletto al
motore e rimuovere il cavalletto
laterale completo.
Scomposizione cavalletto
laterale
Svitare la vite (4) di fissaggio e
rimuovere l’interruttore (5) del
cavalletto.
Sganciare le molle (6) di ritorno
cavalletto dal piastrino (7) posizionato
sulla piastra (3) supporto cavalletto, e
rimuoverle.
Svitare il perno (8) di fissaggio
cavalletto alla piastra e rimuovere la
stampella laterale (1) e il dado (9).
Ispezione cavalletto
laterale
Verificare, introducendo la stampella
nella piastra, che non vi sia gioco
eccessivo e che le due estremità della
stampella non risultino piegate
rispetto al fusto.
Individuando segni di frattura
sostituire il cavalletto laterale.
Per la verifica dell’interruttore (5)
consultare la Sezione P 6.
Ricomposizione
cavalletto laterale
Infilare la stampella laterale (1),
opportunamente ingrassata, nella
piastra (3) e fissarla con il perno (8) e
il dado (9).
Serrare il perno (8) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Posizionare le molle (6) di ritorno
cavalletto, fissandole sul piastrino (7)
e sulla stampella (1).
Posizionare l’interruttore (5) sulla
piastra, in appoggio sul perno (8).
Montare la vite (4) di fissaggio e
bloccarla alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Rimontaggio cavalletto
laterale
Posizionare la piastra (3) sostegno
cavalletto sul motore e montare le
due viti (2) applicando frenafiletti
prescritto.
Serrare le viti (2) alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Per il posizionamento del cablaggio
interruttore cavalletto fare riferimento
alle tavole Sezione P 1.
Removing the sidestand
Unscrew the two bolts (2) securing
the sidestand bracket (3) to the
engine and remove the complete
sidestand assembly.
Disassembly of the
sidestand
Unscrew the retaining bolt (4) and
remove the sidestand switch (5).
Release the sidestand springs (6)
from the connecting plate (7) located
on the sidestand bracket (3), and
remove them.
Unscrew the pivot bolt (8) securing
the sidestand to the bracket and
remove the sidestand (1) and the
nut (9).
Inspecting the sidestand
Fit the stand leg to the bracket and
check that there is no excessive play.
Ensure that the ends of the sidestand
are not bent with respect to the shank.
A stand which shows signs of cracking
must be renewed immediately.
See Section P 6 for testing the
switch (5).
Reassembly of the
sidestand
Grease the sidestand leg (1) and fit
it to the bracket (3). Secure it with
pivot bolt (8) and the nut (9).
Tighten the pivot bolt (8) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Position the stand return springs (6)
and attach them to the connection
plate (7) and to the sidestand (1).
Locate the switch (5) on the bracket
against the pivot bolt (8).
Fit the retaining bolt (4) and tighten
to the specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Refitting the sidestand
Locate the bracket (3) on the frame,
apply recommended threadlocker to
the two bolts (2) and insert the bolts.
Tighten the bolts (2) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
For correct routing of the sidestand
switch wiring, refer to diagrams in
Section P 1.
