2 - AVVIAMENTO -
RISCALDAMENTO
MOTORE
Avviamento motore
Questo veicolo è dotato di starter
automatico (stepper motor). Questa
funzione permette di automatizzare la
procedura di riscaldamento motore.
Per il funzionamento dello stepper
motor vedi Sezione M 3.
Spostare l'interruttore d'accensione
sulla posizione ON. Verificare che la
spia verde e quella rossa sul cruscotto
risultino accese (Sez. P 7).
Lasciare che il motore si avvii
spontaneamente, senza azionare
il comando dell'acceleratore.
Importante
La spia che indica la pressione
dell'olio deve spegnersi alcuni secondi
dopo l'avvio del motore. Se la spia
rimane accesa, fermare il motore e
controllare il livello dell'olio (Sez. P 7).
Non avviare il motore se la pressione
dell'olio è insufficiente.
Note
Questo modello è provvisto
di avviamento servoassistito, tale
funzione permette l'avviamento
servoassistito del motore premendo
e rilasciando immediatamente il
pulsante (1). Alla pressione del
pulsante (1) si ha l'avviamento
automatico del motore per un tempo
massimo variabile in funzione della
temperatura del motore stesso.
A motore avviato il sistema inibisce
il trascinamento del motorino
d'avviamento. In caso di mancata
accensione del motore è necessario
aspettare almeno 2 secondi prima di
premere nuovamente il pulsante (1).
Importante
Non far funzionare il motore, ad
un elevato numero di giri. Quando è
freddo aspettare il riscaldamento
dell'olio e la sua circolazione in tutti i
punti che necessitano di lubrificazione.
Attenzione
È possibile avviare il motociclo
con il cavalletto laterale esteso ed il
cambio in posizione di folle, oppure
con la marcia del cambio inserita,
tenendo tirata la leva della frizione
(in questo caso il cavalletto deve
essere chiuso).
2 - STARTING - ENGINE
WARMUP
Starting the engine
This motorcycle is equipped with an
automatic starter (stepper motor).
This allows automation of the engine
warmup procedure. For information
on the operation of the stepper
motor, see Section M 3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON. Make
sure both the green light and the red
light on the instrument panel come on
(Sect. P 7).
Allow the engine to start on its own,
without turning the throttle twistgrip.
Important
The oil pressure warning light
should go out a few seconds after the
engine has started. If the light stays
on, stop the engine and check the
oil level (Sect. P 7).
Never start the engine when the oil
pressure is too low.
Notes
This model is equipped with
servo-assisted engine starting;
to achieve servo-assisted starting,
press button (1) and then release
it immediately. When you press
button (1) the starter motor runs
automatically for a period of time
that varies according to the engine
temperature.
The system disengages the starter
motor as soon as the engine starts.
If the engine fails to start, wait at
least 2 seconds before pressing the
button (1) again.
Important
Do not run the engine at high
speed when cold. Allow some time
for the oil to warm up and reach all
points that need lubricating.
Warning
The engine can be started with
the sidestand down and the gearbox
in neutral. When starting the engine
with a gear engaged, pull in the clutch
lever (in this case the sidestand must
be in the raised position).
