Also check that the component parts
of the gear coupling mechanism are
in good condition (see exploded
view).
Engage the gears and check that
the gearbox control does not jam
(selector fork - gear groove, and fork
pin - desmodromic drum groove)
due to incorrect axial clearances.
Correct clearances by shimming
the gearbox shafts and drum with
suitable shims.
For the total gearbox shaft and
selector drum axial clearances,
refer to Section C 1.1.
Controllare inoltre le buone
condizioni dei particolari componenti
il meccanismo di innesto marce
(vedi esploso).
Inserire le marce e controllare che
non vi siano impuntature nel
comando cambio (forcella-gola
ingranaggio e piolo forcella-gola
tamburo desmodromico) dovute a
scorretti giochi assiali. Ripristinare
detti giochi spessorando alberi
cambio e tamburo con apposite
rondelle di rasamento.
Giochi assiali totali degli alberi cambio
e del tamburo cambio, sono riportati
alla Sezione C 1.1.
