tappo serbatoio
Smontaggio gruppo tappo
serbatoio
Aprire il tappo di carico.
Svitare le viti (15) che fissano la base
del tappo (14) al serbatoio carburante.
Rimuovere il tappo (14) e recuperare
la guarnizione OR (13).
Nel tappo serbatoio è presente il
gommino (16) di sfiato.
In caso di sostituzione, applicare
uniformemente su tutto il perimetro
della gola del gommino (16) un
adesivo istantaneo.
Installare il gommino facendolo
aderire perfettamente nella sede del
tappo in modo che sbordi nella parte
inferiore del tappo serbatoio.
In questo modo si avrà la certezza che
faccia tenuta con il serbatoio.
Rimontaggio gruppo tappo
serbatoio
Ingrassare opportunamente la nuova
guarnizione OR (13) e la relativa sede
del serbatoio.
Rimontare il tappo (14) nella sede
del serbatoio e serrare le viti (15)
alla coppia prescritta (Sez.C 3).

Removing the tank cap unit
Open the filler cap.
Undo screws (15) securing the base
of cap (14) to the fuel tank.
Remove cap (14) and recover
O-ring (13).
Breather grommet (16) is located
inside the filler cap.
In the case of replacement, apply a
uniform film of speed bonder around
the groove that accommodates
grommet (16).
Install the rubber grommet making
sure it adheres perfectly in its groove
in the filler cap seat and protrudes
in the lower part of the cap.
This ensures that it will seal with the
fuel tank itself.
Refitting the tank cap unit
Grease the new O-ring (13) and its
groove in the fuel tank.
Refit cap unit (14) in its seat in the
tank and tighten down screws (15)
to their specified torque (Sect. C 3).
