Registrazione posizione
pedale comando cambio
e freno posteriore
Per assecondare le esigenze di guida
di ogni pilota è possibile modificare
la posizione dei pedali comando
cambio e freno posteriore rispetto
all’appoggiapiedi.
Per modificare la posizione del pedale
comando cambio agire nel modo
seguente:
Bloccare l’asta (1) e allentare i
controdadi (2) e (3).
Note
Il dado (2) ha un filetto
sinistrorso.
Ruotare l’asta (1), operando con una
chiave aperta sulla parte esagonale (A),
facendo assumere al pedale cambio
la posizione desiderata.
Serrare contro l’asta entrambi i
controdadi.
Note
Per ristabilire la posizione
originale del pedale fare riferimento
alla quota
197±1 mm.
Per modificare la posizione del pedale
comando freno posteriore agire nel
modo seguente:
Allentare il controdado (4).
Ruotare la vite (5) di registro corsa
pedale fino a stabilire la posizione
desiderata.
Serrare il controdado (4).
Verificare, agendo a mano sul pedale,
che questo presenti un gioco di circa
1,5÷2 mm prima di iniziare l’azione
frenante.
Se così non risulta occorre modificare
la lunghezza dell’astina di comando
della pompa nel modo seguente:
Allentare il controdado (6) sull’astina
della pompa.
Avvitare l’astina sulla forcella (7) per
aumentare il gioco o svitarla per
diminuirlo.
Serrare il controdado (6) e verificare
nuovamente il gioco.
Adjusting the position of
the gearchange and rear
brake pedals
The position of the gear change and
rear brake pedals in relation to the
footrests can be adjusted to suit
the preferred riding position.
To adjust the position of the
gearchange pedal, proceed as
follows:
Restrain the tie-rod (1) and slacken
the locknuts (2) and (3).
Notes
The locknut (2) has a left-hand
thread.
Rotate the tie-rod (1) using an open-
ended wrench on the flats (A) to
move the gearchange pedal to the
required position.
Tighten the two lock nuts onto the
tie-rod.
Notes
To return the pedal to its
original position, obtain the distance
197±1 mm as shown.
To adjust the position of the rear
brake pedal, proceed as follows.
Loosen the locknut (4).
Turn the pedal travel adjustment
bolt (5) until the pedal is in the desired
position.
Tighten the locknut (4).
Operate the pedal by hand to make
sure it has
1.5 to 2 mm of free play
before the brake begins to bite.
If not, adjust the length of brake
master cylinder pushrod as follows:
Slacken off the locknut (6) on the
pushrod.
Screw the rod into the clevis (7)
to increase play, or unscrew it to
reduce play.
Tighten the locknut (6) and recheck
the pedal freeplay.
