Revisione forcella

È consigliabile allentare il
tappo (7) dello stelo forcella quando
è ancora montato sul veicolo.
Note
Gli attrezzi specifici per
effettuare la revisione della forcella,
sono riportati alla Sezione C 4.
Svitare il tappo superiore (7).
Scomposizione forcella
anteriore
Bloccare il controdado (23) con una
chiave esagonale.
Utilizzando un'altra chiave
esagonale svitare il tappo (7), con la
guarnizione (22), dalla cartuccia (26).
Svitare il controdado (23), fino alla
parte finale della filettatura della
cartuccia (26).
Tenendo bloccata con la mano la
molla (9), sfilare lateralmente la
rosetta (8) e rilasciare lentamente
la molla (9).
Overhauling the front
forks
Notes
It is advisable to loosen the
cap (7) when fork is still fitted on the
motorcycle.
Notes
The special tools required for
front fork overhaul are listed in
Section C 4.
Remove the top cap (7).
Disassembly of the front fork
Restrain the lock nut (23) with a hex
wrench.
Using a second wrench, unscrew and
remove the cap (7) with the seal (22)
from the damper (26).
Unscrew the lock nut (23) up to the
final threads on the damper (26).
While restraining the spring (9) with
one hand, withdraw washer (8)
sideways and then slowly release
spring (9).
