Revisione componenti
freno anteriore
Importante
La casa costruttrice delle pinze
freno, considerando l'importanza in
termini di sicurezza che rivestono
questi componenti, suggerisce di non
intervenire in nessun modo all'interno
delle pinze. Una revisione non
eseguita correttamente può mettere
in serio pericolo l'incolumità del pilota.
Le operazioni di sostituzione si
devono limitare alle pastiglie,
ai componenti di fissaggio e al
gruppo di spurgo.
Per la sostituzione dei componenti
sopra indicati fare riferimento a
quanto mostrato nell’esploso a inizio
capitolo.
Revisione dischi freno
anteriore
I dischi anteriori sono composti da
una parte solidale al cerchio ruota e da
una fascia frenante. Dovendo
sostituire il disco è necessario
sostituire entrambi i componenti.
Rimuovere la ruota anteriore
(Sez. G 1).
Svitare le sei viti (14) di fissaggio disco
alla ruota e rimuovere il disco (13).
Il disco freno deve essere
perfettamente pulito, cioè senza
ruggine, olio, grasso od altra sporcizia
e non deve presentare profonde
rigature.
Per il controllo dello stato di usura dei
dischi freno attenersi ai dati riportati al
paragrafo “Freni idraulici”(Sez. C 1).
Quando si procede al rimontaggio del
disco sul cerchio pulire perfettamente
le superfici di appoggio e applicare
sulla filettatura delle viti di
fissaggio (14) frenafiletti.
Avvitare le sei viti (14) di fissaggio
disco (13), alla ruota anteriore
seguendo la sequenza 1-3-5-2-4-6.
Serrare le viti alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Overhauling the front
brake components
Important
Critical safety components.
The brake caliper manufacturer
advises against any servicing of
the internal components of calipers.
Incorrect overhaul of this critical
safety component can endanger
rider safety.
Operations should be limited to
renewal of the pads, fasteners and
the bleed valve assembly.
Refer to the exploded view at
the beginning of this section for
indications on renewal of the above
components.
Overhauling the front brake
discs
The front brake discs consist of an
inner carrier, which is mounted to the
wheel, and an outer rotor. Both parts
must be changed together as a pair.
Remove the front wheel (Sect. G 1).
Unscrew the six bolts (14) securing
the brake disc to the wheel and
remove the disc (13).
The brake disc must be clean without
any signs of rust, oil, grease or dirt
and no deep scoring.
To check brake disc wear, please
see the service limits given in the
paragraph “Hydraulic brakes”
(Sect. C 1).
Before refitting the brake disc to
the wheel, clean all contact surfaces
thoroughly and smear threadlocker
on the threads of retaining bolts (14).
Screw in the bolts (14) securing the
front brake disc (13) to the front
wheel in the sequence: 1-3-5-2-4-6.
Tighten the bolts to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
