Rimontaggio coperchio
alternatore
Installare sul coperchio alternatore
lo statore (32), disponendolo con
l’uscita del cavo verso il coperchio e in
direzione dello scasso sul coperchio
stesso.
Applicare frenafiletti sulle viti (24) di
fissaggio statore e bloccarle alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Installare sopra al cavo il piastrino (30)
e fissarlo al coperchio con due viti (31).
Prima del montaggio assicurarsi che
sul coperchio alternatore (28) siano
installati anche il cuscinetto (26) di
estremità dell'albero motore con
relativo anello di ritegno.
Pulire da eventuali incrostazioni
e sgrassare le superfici di
accoppiamento del semicarter
sinistro e del coperchio alternatore.
Montare le due boccole di
riferimento (29).
Applicare un cordone continuo
e uniforme di guarnizione liquida
DUCATI sulla superficie del
coperchio (28), contornando i fori
delle viti e delle boccole di centraggio.
Lubrificare con grasso l'estremità
dell'albero motore e dell'alberino leva
cambio per facilitare l'inserimento del
coperchio ed evitare di danneggiare
l'anello di tenuta (
3 ), se già installato
nel coperchio.
Battere in più punti con martello in
gomma per aiutare l'inserimento del
coperchio negli alberi e nelle boccole
di centraggio.
Note
Nel caso fosse necessario
rimuovere nuovamente il coperchio,
utilizzare l'estrattore
88713.1749
applicato nei fori filettati in
corrispondenza dell'albero motore.
Impuntare le viti di fissaggio
seguendo le indicazioni della tabella.
Serrare alla coppia prescritta le viti
di fissaggio (Sez. C 3).
Inserire sotto alla vite (12),
in corrispondenza del motorino
di avviamento, la rosetta (35) ed
il passatubo (36).
Serrare alla coppia prescritta le viti
di fissaggio (Sez. C 3).

Reinstalling the
generator cover
Install stator (32) on the generator
cover, arranging it so that the cable
outlet is oriented towards the cover
and facing the direction of the slot in
the cover.
Apply threadlocker to stator fixing
screws (24) and tighten to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Fit plate (30) over the cable and
secure to cover with two screws (31).
Before assembling make sure that
also crankshaft end bearing (26) and
relative retaining ring are fitted on
generator cover (28).
Clean off any deposits and degrease
the coupling surfaces of the LH-side
casing and the generator cover.
Fit the two reference bushes (29).
Spread a continuous and uniform
bead of DUCATI liquid gasket on the
surface of cover (28), surrounding the
holes for the retaining screws and
centring bushes.
Use grease to lubricate the end of the
crankshaft and the gearbox control
lever to make cover assembly easier
and prevent oil seal (
3 ) from being
damaged in the event that it is already
installed in the cover.
Tap at different positions with a
rubber mallet to facilitate cover
positioning on shafts and centring
bushes.
Notes
Should the cover be removed
again, fit puller part no. 88713.1749 to
the threaded holes at the crankshaft.
Start retaining screws into their holes
as shown in the table.
Tighten the retaining screws to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Fit washer (35) and hose gland (36)
under screw (12) at the starter motor.
Tighten the retaining screws to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
