Refitting the timing
covers
Lubricate the new O-rings (19) with
the recommended grease and fit on
cover (20).
Fit cover (20) on the LH-side of the
head.
Secure cover (20) with screws (21).
Tighten screws (21) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
Notes
Pay attention to key (15)
located on camshaft (16).
Position horizontal head cover (2) on
the LH side of the head and insert
fixing screws (1).
Take care to position special screw (1)
correctly.
Tighten screws (32) and (1) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Repeat the same procedure for the
other head.

Refit the timing pulleys
to the heads N 4.2
Refit timing belts and
covers N 4.2
Refit the air filter box L 7
Rimontaggio cappellotti
distribuzione
Lubrificare con grasso prescritto le
nuove guarnizioni OR (19) ed
installarla sul cappellotto (20).
Posizionare il cappellotto (20) sul lato
sinistro della testa.
Fissare il cappellotto (20) utilizzando
le viti (21).
Serrare le viti (21) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Note
Fare attenzione alla
linguetta (15) posizionata sull’albero
distribuzione (16).
Posizionare il cappellotto testa
orizzontale (2) sul lato sinistro della
testa e inserire le viti (1) di fissaggio.
Fare attenzione a posizionere
correttamente la vite speciale (1).
Serrare le viti (32) ed (1) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Ripetere le stesse operazioni per
l’altra testa.

Rimontare le puleggie
distribuzione sulle teste N 4.2
Rimontare le cinghie e i
coperchi distribuzione N 4.2
Rimontare la scatola
