The touch applicator has 9 independently sprung fingers that are that are driven down & up via a pneumatic
air cylinder
Inside the applicator unit there are two 24v fans to create an up flow of air to hold the label on the applicator
shoe
Applicator position
The position of the applicator fitted to the Signature labeller can be moved back and forward in relation to
the thermal head area.
This feature can aid the application of larger labels by moving the applicator further away from the thermal
head area.
Loosen the two screws indicated to allow the
back and forward positional adjustment of the
applicator fingers.
