The touch screen can now be removed from the outer
screen surround.
If the touch panel is to be replaced, be careful to keep
the glass surface clean from dirt / fingerprints on the
inner face.
NOTE: the outer most face of the panel has a rubber
seal, ( Del part no. 563
- 153 - C2). Ensure a new seal is
obtained and fitted to the replacement touch panel.
Seal on front side of touch panel to seal against the
fascia (560
- 781 - C1)
Important notes for fitting seal
Ensure when fitting the seal it is placed on the
correct side (outside) of the touch panel.
One edge of the seal is wider; ensure this wider
edge is placed down the touch panel side where the
ribbon cable is.
The seal must not overlap any of the touch panel
area. Keep the seal on the green part around the
edge of the panel.
