HS blow applicator setup continued - Horizontal position of
applicator
With the applicator in its forward
position, closest to the print head area,
check there is a suitable size gap (2.5 to
3mm) from the stripping bar / thermal
head mount to the front edge of the label
receiver.

Check thermal head movement
With the correct gap size set (as above) check the
thermal head can be lifted and lowered without it
touching the label applicator.
To adjust gap size, see below
Setting horizontal position.
Use the stop screw (circled below) to set the horizontal stop position of the applicator.
Once set correctly,
when the applicator is
moved to its working
position, it should stop
at a position to leave
the small gap
necessary for correct
operation and allow the
thermal head to be
lifted
