Re - assembly
Re - fitting the load cell back into the scale assembly is the reversal of the dis - assembly process but also
noting the following important assembly points
Place loadcell into groove of
mounting block.
Ensure correct orientation of
loadcell in block,
arrow on loadcell must point
downwards
Fit the two M5x12 caphead
screws in side of mounting
block and lightly tension loadcell
to opposite side.
Fit M6x16 screws and torque to
14nm.
Tighten side screws.
Apply Loctite 243 to side screw at
final assembly, remove each side
screw in turn and apply Loctite
243.
These screws to be tightened to
Torque value of 14Nm into loadcell,
Use anti corrosive jointing compound
on screw threads
Side screws
If the scale top frame has been
removed from the scale levelling pins
and /or the pins have been removed /
loosened, note the following setting.
Set the height of all pins so there is a
2mm gap to scale mounting bar, see
below.
Apply ‘ O ’ ring grease all over
ring mounts and bush mounts
Tighten nut to meet shoulder
on scale levelling pin
Note load cell clamp bar sits on slotted spring pin
