Conveyor belt replacement - continued
With the conveyor belts removed from
the deck, the idler roller can easily
slide out of its location, therefore care
should be taken not to let this fall out
and damage the roller
Refitting conveyor belts
When starting to refit the conveyor
belts, ensure the idler roller locates
correctly into the idler roller plates,
check it can freely move in the slots.
The adjuster screw locates in the
recess in the roller end (both ends)
Refit the conveyor belts
The idler roller should be tensioned
using the two adjuster screws.
Using a hex key through the slot in
each side of the conveyor, adjust the
tension screw each side to tension
the conveyor belt.
Set a distance of 5mm in position as
shown left to obtain the correct
conveyor belt tension.
