Loosen the two captive screws holding the belt cover

 

Remove belt cover

The toothed drive belt can now be removed. 
Inspect belt for wear or damage and replace if 
needed

Remove the four screws and washers holding 
the motor / gearhead in place to allow the      
assembly to be removed.

Lift out motor / gearhead assy.

 

Check condition of motor pulley

The toothed guide pulley and guide roller are 
now visible and can be checked for smooth   
rotation. Check the surface of each for any       
damage or wear.

 

Spin each one to check bearings for smooth        
rotation.
