label gap sensor sensitivity adjustment
The label gap sensor, mounted behind the thermal
head area can be adjusted for correct label detection.
There are three areas which will affect the gap sensor
reading and the values it produces
1.
Use machine software to set threshold value
(default value = 800)
2.
Change jumper J5 position (default = B)
-
not
normally used now as I/F sensor board can make
required adjustment
3.
Adjust trimmer pot TR3 on I/F sensor board
1.
Using software to set threshold value
The sensor can be set to read in different modes (standard default = threshold). In threshold mode the
gap sensor value must change by a least the value set in the gap threshold setting
Refer to operation manual for details for description of different gap sensor modes
Worldview
The label gap sensor values and setting
page can be found at:
Service menu / labeller setup / service /
sensor
On this page the actual sensor values can
be seen (gap sensor value) and the gap
threshold value set.
The gap sensing mode can be selected
Console
The sensor settings are in two places. The
gap sensor mode is in the service menu /
labeller / general settings

type.
The gap sensitivity reading and the
threshold value is in service menu / label-
