With the power still turned off, plug in the connector into
PL2
The one in PL15 remains connected.
Switch on the isolator switch of the machine.
NOTE: do not launch the machine (rear screen button)
There is no indication LED ’ s for this up - load of software,
therefore allow around 2 minutes for this process to
complete.
On completion, turn off the isolator switch and un - plug the
module unit.
Reconnect the cables to the labeller board which were
initially disconnected.
When the machine is switch on and the 700 software
launched, check the version number in service menu /
labeller settings is correct.
Check the labeller can carry out a label feed operation. If
this does not work, the up
- load of the 2
nd
part of the soft-
ware has not been successful. Return to the process
above to re
- load the software.
With the board in operation in the 700 machine, the 4 LED ’ s on the board (15, 16, 17, and 18) will display
their current function, i.e. - if an error has occurred, the LED (s) can indicate the error.
LED 15 = listen socket error
LED 15 + 16 = cannot set interface
LED 16 = cannot open interface
LED 17 = TCP server error
LED 16 + 17 = waiting for TCP connection
LED 15 + 17 = TCP connected
LED 15 + 16 + 17 = waiting for free mailbox slot
LED 18 = data waiting in output slot (to pc console)
All flash = wrong software loaded into CPU
All steady = waiting for CPU synchronisation
