Shut the machine completely down, including the mains
isolator.
Remove the rear labeller cover to access the labeller board.
2nd stage labeller shown left, see following page for classic
labeller board orientation
The labeller can behave in an unpredictable way when the soft-
ware is being up
-
loaded if all the cables remain connected, there-
fore it is recommended all the cable are un
-
plugged except the
power leads.
Power leads remain connected
Plug in the module board to PL19 & PL15
Switch on the isolator switch of the machine.
NOTE: do not launch the machine (rear screen button)
With the isolator on, wait for the software to be loaded onto the
board.
An indication of the progress of the software update is to look at
the set of four LED
’
s at the centre of the labeller board (numbered
15,16,17,18). These will initially come on to indicate the memory
is clear and then after a short time (allow approx. 1 minute); the
LED
’
s will flash continually.

s start to flash this part of the software update is
