Transit screws
After removal of the scale conveyor (see previous page), the transit screws can be adjusted to release the
load cell from its transit setting
The transit screws are at
each end of the scale unit
(circled left).
Carry out the process below
for both screws
Loosen the nut under the
bracket down to the lower
nut.
Check the gap between
bracket and screw head.
There should be a minimal
gap here. Ensure none of the
screw, washers, nuts are
touching the bracket.
Tighten the lower nut if the
screw has been adjusted
