Change the brake assembly from outside wound to inside wound - continued
Refit the clamp plate to
the mounting bracket in
the position shown left.
NOTE: use Loctite 222
on fixing screw thread
When fitting clamp plate,
ensure the threaded hole
lines up with the hole on
the mounting bracket
Unscrew the belt from the brake
adjuster boss and refit in the orientation
shown left
NOTE: use Loctite 222 on screw thread
Refit the brake adjuster boss to the
mounting plate in the new position and
set the belt around the bosses as
shown
Adjust the position of the boss to
ensure correct position & operation of
brake arm
