Option part - LA - 3600 inhibit label apply, (external mask).
If an LA - 3600 is fitted to the labelling station of the HI - HS, an additional feature can be installed to inhibit a
label application from the LA - 3600 if the pack is deemed a reject (may be due to over / under weight /
unstable etc).
The wiring and software is pre - installed at factory build or can be retro - fitted using DIGI work instruction
WI - 357.1 OR WI - 424.2.
Which installation is used may depend on various factors such as machine software type and ease of
application at install
WI - 357.1 type connection - For this installation the reject signal (REJ 1 / 2 or 3) will be connected to a
relay in the HI cabinet before going onto the LA - 3600. The cable that comes from the LA - 3600 is
connected to the relay at:
Relay positions: Red = 12 , Black = 11

REJ 2 / 3)

WI - 424.1 type connection - For this installation, connect the cable from the LA - 3600 directly to the REJ 1
connector (could also be REJ 2 / 3)

For both install types the connection between the HI - HS and the
LA - 3600 is the same, this being the reject signal. A two way Molex
connecter is fitted in the HI - HS cabinet and is marked REJ 1 ( there is
also REJ 2 & REJ 3 which may also be used).
