Transport block size index
The 3GPP compliant combinations supported by the R&S
CMW are listed in the follow-
ing sections. Many other parameters are indirectly determined by these four parame-
ters. Refer to 3GPP TS 36.521 for detailed tables. Some of these parameters are also
displayed at the GUI for information.
In addition to the 3GPP compliant combinations, the tables list also the configurable
combinations without RB allocation. These parameter combinations use QPSK as
symbolic value for the modulation type and 0 as symbolic value for the transport block
size index.
If you want to force the UE to use the PUCCH instead of the PUSCH, set the number
of UL resource blocks to 0. Thus the UE is not allowed to use the PUSCH and must
use the PUCCH to send ACK/NACKs.

UL RMCs
The following table lists the supported parameter sets for UL RMCs.
The resource blocks allocated in the UL are contiguous. The position of the first alloca-
ted RB is indicated as follows:

L: lower end of channel bandwidth, starting with first RB
●
H: upper end of channel bandwidth, up to last RB
●
M: middle position, one RB allocated
The allocated RB is located in the middle of the channel bandwidth. Its position is
calculated as the smallest integer number
