Replacing Feed Deflectors on New Holland CR Combines
1. Detach the header from the combine. Refer to
4 Header Attachment/Detachment, page 225
2. Remove the two bolts and nuts (B) securing the feed
de
fl
ector (A) to the
fl
oat module frame, and remove the
feed de
fl
ector.
3. Position the replacement feed de
fl
ector (A), and secure
with bolts and nuts (B) (ensure the nuts are facing
the combine). Do NOT tighten nuts.

4. Adjust de
fl
ector (A) so that distance (C) between pan
and de
fl
ector is 5/32–1/4 in. (4–6 mm).
5. Tighten nuts (B).
6. Repeat for opposite de
fl
ector.
7. Attach header onto the combine. Refer to
Attachment/Detachment, page 225
8. After attaching header to combine, extend center-link
fully, and check gap between de
fl
ector and pan.
Maintain the 5/32–1/4 in. (4–6 mm) gap.
