cutterbar. Ensure there is a 0.04–0.08 in. (1–2 mm)
gap (A) between the cutterbar (C) and the draper (B).

11. Operate the drapers with the engine at idle so the talc
or talc/graphite lubricant makes contact and adheres
to the draper seal surfaces.

Adjusting Draper Tension
WARNING
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected start-up or fall of raised machine, always stop engine,
remove key, and engage safety props before going under machine for any reason.
NOTE:
The drapers are tensioned at the factory and rarely need adjustment. If adjustment is required, tension the
drapers just enough to prevent slipping and to keep the draper from sagging below the cutterbar.
