Shutting down the Machine

DANGER

To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected start-up of machine, always stop engine and remove key
from ignition before leaving operator’s seat for any reason.

To shut down, and before leaving the combine seat for any reason, follow these steps:

• Park on level ground whenever possible.

• Lower the header fully.

• Place all controls in NEUTRAL or PARK.

• Disengage the header drive.

• Lower and fully retract the reel.

• Stop the engine and remove the key from the ignition.

• Wait for all movement to stop.
