3. Loosen the two bolts (A) securing the motor assembly
to the header endsheet.
4. Turn the adjuster bolt (B) clockwise to move the drive
motor until a force of 30 lbf (133 N) de
fl
ects the belt (C)
61/64–1-3/32 in. (24–28 mm) at the mid-span.

5. Ensure the clearance between the belt (A) and the belt
guide (B) is 3/64 in. (1 mm).
6. Loosen the three bolts (C), and adjust the position of
the guide (B) as required.
7. Tighten the three bolts (C).
8. Close the endshield. Refer to

Readjust the tension of a new belt after a short
run-in period (about
fi
ve hours).
9. Repeat procedure on the other side of the header.
