MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING

Lubricate the auger drive chain every 100 hours. Lubrication can be done with the

fl

oat module attached to the

combine, but it is easier with the

fl

oat module detached.

The auger drive cover consists of an upper and lower cover, and a metal inspection panel. Only the metal inspection
panel needs to be removed to grease the chain.

1. Remove four bolts (A) and the metal inspection

panel (B).

2. Apply a liberal amount of grease to the chain (A), drive

sprocket (B), and idler sprocket (C).

3. Rotate the auger and apply grease to more areas of

the chain, if practical.
