Break-in Period
CAUTION
Before investigating an unusual sound or attempting to correct a problem, shut off engine and remove key.
NOTE:
Until you become familiar with the sound and feel of your new header, be extra alert and attentive.
After attaching the header to the combine for the

rst time, follow these steps:
1. Operate the machine with the reels, drapers, and knives running slowly for
fi
ve minutes. Watch and listen

NOTE:
Reels and side drapers will not operate until oil
