Preparing Infusion
At the start of an infusion program, the system prompts user
to select and confirm the syringe type and size.
Ensure the displayed
syringe
manufacturer and size
correctly
identifies the installed syringe.
Mismatches may cause an under-
infusion or over-infusion to the
patient that could result in serious
injury and/or death. For a list of
compatible syringes, reference
“General Information”, “Compatible
Syringes”. If the installed syringe is
displayed and selected, but is not
recognized, servicing is required
(reference “Service Information” in
“Appendix” Section of this

).
