Failure
Message ID:

Subsystem: rasdSmc

Description: This error usually
occurs whenever the obstruction
transducer does not see fluid during
runtime. Often this comes from a
clogged degasser or lack of
Degassed water to the system. The
obstruction detection transducer is
looking for a certain range of
pressure during its primes before
sample aspiration. If it does not see
the correct differential, it will flag a
transducer error.

• Check Obstruction Detection

Transducer for obvious leaks or
dripping from connections or the
device itself and CC Sample Probe.

• Look for pinch in Water line (from

syringe to to top of probe).

• Make sure the CC sample Syringe is

properly seated.

• Make sure CC Sample Probe tubing is

properly connected at top of Probe.

• Contact Beckman Coulter Technical

Support Center for additional
information.
