Manually Assigning Rack and Position

It is only necessary to manually assign a rack and position if:

• the system is set up in bar code mode and a sample will not be bar coded,

• a bar code is unreadable by the system.

Step

Action

Select the Samples icon from the menu bar.

Select Racks [F8].

Select a rack with an open position. Type the desired manual assignment
into the selected rack/position.

Select <OK> to accept the assignment <Cancel> to leave assignment
screen.

Select Program [F10] to return to Sample program screen.

Select Cancel [F9] to leave without saving assignments.
