To configure TACACS accounting on a console line, choose from the commands in this step.
Shell Accounting — These commands enable shell accounting, which logs only when a new session is started and
stopped or just stopped.
configure line console [0/1] accounting acct1 [method_list_name] shell start-stop
configure line console [0/1] accounting acct1 [method_list_name] shell stop-only
Command Accounting — This logs only when commands using privilege levels 0 through 15 are executed.
configure line console [0/1] accounting acct1 [method_list_name] command [0-15]

To check the accounting method lists configured on the system:
show accounting

To deconfigure accounting (tacacs and local) from a vty line:
configure line vty [0-15] accounting acct1 [method_list_name] no

To deconfigure accounting (tacacs and local) from a console line:
configure line console [0/1] accounting acct1 [method_list_name] no

To see all TACACS AAA+ activities on a system:
show tacacs detail
Source Interface
The source interface adds the ability to set the source IP address used by the C4 client when connecting
to a configured server. Operators of the C4 CMTS are already capable of specifying the IPv4 source addresses for
SYSLOG, SNMP TRAPs, and Remote Query.
The feature forces the C4 CMTS to use a TCP socket for communicating to the server that is locally bound to the
primary IPv4 address associated with the specified interface.
Operational Concerns
This feature is off by default. Customers using this feature should also be aware of the following:
Default behavior — By default there will be no source interface configured, and, in that case, the C4 CMTS behave as it
did in Release 8.1 which is:
