show cable flap-list
Purpose
When a cable modem makes an insertion request more frequently than the defined insertion time or its power adjustment exceeds
its predefined threshold, it is characterized as flapping and placed in the flap list. This command displays information about modems
that have flapped since the last time the count was cleared. This assists in troubleshooting C4/c CMTS to cable modem connectivity.

Supplemental
Information
Many of these options are common to the
show cable modem
command. The flap-list commands show modems with non-zero
flap counts. In other words, modems that have flapped since the last
clear cable flap-list all
command was issued will
be displayed. By default, this command will output all modems with non-zero flap counts sorted by CM MAC address.
