Remove the Sight Glass
The sight glass should only be removed if it is suspected of being cracked
and causing leaks.

Note: Wear gloves for this procedure as there may be broken
glass present.
1. Remove the 8 screws holding the bezel. See the diagram
2. Remove the window carefully.
3. Wipe off the O-ring with a damp cloth to remove any small pieces of
glass if you are not going to replace it with a new one.
Replace the Sight Glass
1. Install the clean O-ring or, preferably, a new O-ring.
2. Place the quartz window against the O-ring between the bezel and
plate. Loosely attach the screws.
3. Tighten the screws in a “star” pattern (similar to the method used to
tighten bolts on a tire.)
