If the
Display Raw Image
box (only available in
Show all
mode for all
Display Modes
) is checked, the
Source Image
will be displayed along the
HR
(SMLM) and/or
SWF
images (Fig. 665). If not checked, the
raw image field is not displayed.
With the
Display Mode
drop down menu, you
can select in which mode the
HR
channel should
be displayed (Fig. 667).
You have 6 options (Fig. 666):
−
Gauss
: Localized peaks / objects are
displayed with the localization error and
rendered to a Gauss function. The higher the
precision, the smaller the width of and the
brighter the peak / object. Note that areas
with higher molecule densities are also
brighter.
−
Centroid
: Localized peaks / objects will be
displayed by a dot at the localization point.
−
Gauss + Centroid
: Overlay of Gauss
rendered peaks / objects and centroids.
−
Cross
: Localized peaks / objects will be
displayed by a cross at the localization point.
−
Gauss + Cross
: Overlay of Gauss rendered
peaks / objects and crosses.
−
Molecule Density
: Number of peaks /
objects per area (in
µ
m).
Centroids are better visualized at lower
zooms, whereas crosses are better observed
at higher zooms.
