Control Activation Power
Tick the
Control activation power
check box to
have access to change the activation power during
the experiment (Fig. 122).
The check box is only available if the
Online
Processing SMLM
check box is ticked. The laser
line to be controlled can be selected from the
Laser
pull down menu.
Only those lasers that are activated in the
Channel
or
Imaging Setup
tool will be displayed.
Use the
End power
slider to define the laser
power reached at the end of the experiment.
It will depend on the experimental time and the
initial laser power (set in the
Imaging Setup
or
Channel
tool tab), how steep the activation power
change will be.
The graphical display (available only in the
Show
all
mode) will depict the shape of the ramp and
displays the end laser power in %.
If the initial laser power is higher than the end
power, the slope of the ramp will be negative. Vice
versa, if the initial laser power is lower than the
end power, the slope will be positive.
If the initial or end laser power are changed during the experiment the ramp will be recalculated.
The system calculates the current point based on the assumption, that the changed values would
have been the start values and takes the new calculated ramp starting from the point of change.
All changes will be recorded in terms of at which
Cycle
the change was made and what the laser
power was at the time of the change in the
Record
display field.
The
Current Power
displays the actual laser power in %.
