System Options – Camera
Press the
Camera
tab to open the
Camera
settings panel (Fig. 467).
Select the camera from the
Camera
selection drop
down menu (Fig. 468). Dependent on the
configuration the following cameras are available:
−
AxioCam MRc 3.0 on the front port for IR
transmitted light
−
Andor iXon SIM (Andor iXon 885) on side or
base port for SIM
−
Andor iXon SMLM (Andor iXon 897) on side
port for SMLM
Activate the baseline clamp by ticking the
Baseline
clamp
checking box (Fig. 467). This will subtract
the background in the display and add a certain
offset to avoid negative pixels.
Select the vertical shift speed (not available for the
AxioCam Mrc 3.0 camera) from the
vertical shift
speed
drop down menu (Fig. 469). This will affect
the speed the camera chip is read out vertically.
Select the horizontal shift speed (not available for
the AxioCam Mrc 3.0 camera) from the
horizontal shift speed
drop down menu. This
will affect the speed the camera chip is read out
vertically.
Select the clock voltage (not available for the
AxioCam Mrc 3.0 camera) from the
clock voltage
drop down menu (Fig. 470). This will affect the
clock of the camera.
Activate the frame transfer by ticking the
frame
transfer mode
checking box. This will synchronize
the integration time with the transfer rate. If the
integration time is smaller than the transfer rate
(30 ms), it is recommended to inactivate frame
transfer mode and use the free run mode.
