The
Expansion factor
slider can be used to
correct data obtained with different fitting
routines. For example, a full 2D Gauss fit
applied to one lateral axis taken into account
the other lateral axis will result in a factor of
root 2 larger localization precisions than a
Gauss fit that is independently performed on
both lateral directions. By just multiplying a full
2D Gauss fit rendered data set by 1/
sqrt(
2)
≈
0.71 one will obtain the localization precision
one would have obtained by using a simple 2D
Using the
Expansion factor
slider just adapts the display but does not alter the table. A warning is
given if the slider value drops below 0.71 as the data will be rendered more accurately than
common fitting routines would allow (Fig. 675).
The
Expansion factor
slider adapts the display in x, y and z.
The Expansion factor and Render Localization Precision are mutually exclusive. If the Render
Localization Precision box is checked, the Expansion factor is no longer available.
For all
Display Modes
displaying a rendered peak / object and for density maps (
Gauss
,
Gauss +
Centroid
,
Gauss + Cross
,
Molecule Density
) the
Render autodynamic range HR [%]
and
Render
autodynamic range SWF [%]
sliders are available (only visible in
Show all
mode), which allow to set
the display range for the HR and SWF channels individually.
The value indicates the Quantil, up to which percentage of data (stating with the lower values) will be
displayed. The input number therefore sets the threshold for the maximum range, so the image will be
fully scaled from 0% to input number%. Higher values out of the input% range would be displayed as
saturated pixels (Fig. 676).
Note that the
Render autodynamic range HR [%]
is also vailable
for
molecule density maps (
Molecule
Density
). You can input a range value by using the slider or the input spin boxes. In order that the range
is applied to the
HR
or
SWF
channel, the corresponding slider box has to be checked.
