will be helpful, if the image contains very bright spots like fiducials. The
range would be accordingly scaled from 0 to 100% and dimmer areas would not be visible. If the
slider is set for example to 90% than the image would fully scale between 0% to 90% putting the
higher values into saturation pixels. In this way dimmer regions will become brighter.
Note that in case of the HR and SWF images the dimmer parts get brighter if autodynamic range is
applied. In case of the SWF image the brightest spots will get into saturation.
For all
Display Modes
displaying a density map (
Molecule Density
) the
Binning [Pixel]
slider is
available that allows to bin pixels in the molecule density map. You can set the bin value with the slider
or using the input spin boxes. The map will be immediately rendered to the new bin settings (Fig. 677).
