(5) Recall Focus
When pressing the
Recall Focus
button, the system
will for one time stabilize at the pre-set focal position
(Fig. 159). During stabilization the
Status
: line will
display in green a blinking message
- Determine
position -
, if the process takes more than 1 sec.
Otherwise such a message is not displayed.
If the Definite Focus was able to stabilize, the
Status:
line will display the message
- Position stabilized -
in green letters (Fig. 160).
If the Definite Focus receives no or a too weak signal
during stabilization the
Status:
line will display
- Position not stabilized -
in red letters (Fig. 161).
Pressing
Recall Focus
will interrupt a
Periodic
stabilization, which will be resumed after the
Recall Focus
process is finished.
If the focal plane is changed above a certain
amount, the
- Position stabilized -
message
will disappear. If
Recall Focus
is pressed again,
the system will adjust and stabilize on the
original focal position and the message
reappears if the procedure was successful. If
the focus change was too big,
Recall Focus
is
likely to fail and in this case the message
- Error -
in red letters will be displayed.
