MG-BRI
11.3.3 Service Conditions for MG-BRI Emergency Telephone
1.
If one of the following occurs, MG-BRI is placed in Emergency Telephone mode.
(a) When communication of the Telephony Server and MG-BRI was lost and Health check was timed-out
(Approximately 150 seconds) within the MG-BRI.
(b) When fault has occurred within the MG-BRI.
(c) When power of MG-BRI is disconnected.
(d) When the Telephony Server detects the health check time-out (Approximately 150 seconds) between
Telephony Server - MG-BRI and Telephony Server gives MG-BRI an order to reset.
(e) When the office data was deleted (All channels were deleted by the AMGIL command).
(f) When requested to reset the MG-BRI by AMGIL command specifying the Emergency Telephone mode.
2.
By using the setting of AMGIL command, either to keep on using the Emergency Telephone mode or
switch back to operation mode can be chosen when starting MG-BRI.
3.
When switching back the MG-BRI operating in Emergency Telephone mode to normal operation mode
after status turns back to ONLINE. Specify the operation mode from the AMIGL command and reboot the
MG-BRI. (ONLINE status mentioned here is the status which MG-BRI has complete the registration
towards the Telephony Server).
4.
Reboot request of AMGIL command is only effective when MG-BRI is in ONLINE status. It cannot be
operated when power of MG-BRI is off or Ether link is not established.
5.
Switching of operation mode to Emergency Telephone mode can be operated automatically when the fault
was detected, regardless to the setting of AMGIL command.
6.
Emergency Telephone will be connected directly to the public ISDN network. Therefore direct access to
the extension or trunk of the Telephony Server from the Emergency Telephone is not available.
7.
All on-going communication will be disconnected when switching back from Emergency Telephone
mode to operation mode because the MG-BRI is rebooted after switching to operation mode using
AMGIL command.
8.
SMDR billing information cannot be output for communication of Emergency Telephone.
9.
Operation varies depending on the setting of the office data as shown below.
(a) When both LINE0 and LINE1 have been assigned.
LINE1 cannot originate/terminate a normal call or operate as an Emergency Telephone when operating in
Emergency Telephone mode (LINE 1 does not perform registration).
(b) When only LINE1 has been assigned
MG-BRI cannot be placed in Emergency Telephone mode, registration is performed and starts up in oper-
ation mode.
