MG-SIP96
When enable (=0) is selected for 3PCC function, the following screen is displayed. (When disable is selected,
no screen is displayed.)
Note:
The conditions of this command are as follows.
• Assign this command adjusting to the specifications on the SIP network where MG-SIP96 connects.
• The following functions are available for SP-3987 MGSIP PROG-B Issue 3 or later.
-Hold [put off hold] function
-REFER/NOTIFY function
-3PCC function
-3PCC function(codec)
• Music On Hold may not be sent to some remote terminals if this command is not enabled.
Note 9:
Call Transfer features using REFER/NOTIFY methods are available only when a transferring des-
tination is MG-SIP96.
Note 10:
When INVITE without SDP is received, the following conditions are applied.
- Only G.711 (20ms)

-law/A-law connection is available.
- AMGVL/AIVCL data assignment cannot give an offer.
Note 11:
• When “2=AUTO(default)” is selected, the codec used for 3PCC function (codec) complies with the A-law/
μ
-law information which the Telephony Server informs MG-SIP96 since FP85-108 S5. Earlier than FP85-
108 S5, the information to be informed by the Telephony Server is fixed to
μ
-law.
• In the Telephony Server side, by the system data assignment (ASYD, System Data 1, Index 64, Bit 0), either
μ
-law or A-law can be specified as the A-law/
μ
-law information which the Telephony Server informs MG-
SIP96.
• The Telephony Server informs MG-SIP96 the A-law/
μ
-law information only when the MG-SIP96 performs
registration.
• When you change the system data (ASYD, System Data 1, Index 64, Bit 0) during operation, the data change
will be reflected after rebooting MG-SIP96.

This command is used to select whether SIP requests to be sent with TCP or UDP as the transport proto-
col.
