STEP 2
Allow a read in this directory. For more information, refer to the appropriate manual attached
to the FTP server program.
<Data Assignment on PCPro>
STEP 3
Activate the ATDL command, and then specify the following:
Select an item of External Server in FTP Server Setup.
Input the IP address of FTP server.
Input Login Name and Password for logging in to FTP server if required.
Check an item of Parallel in Download Method.
After completing the above, click the Insert button.
STEP 4
Select Specify Terminal Type in How to Specify Terminal, and then select Analog 2MC.
STEP 5
Click the Search button.
STEP 6
After the Analog 2MCs are displayed in Result of Search, select the appropriate Analog 2MC
to be upgraded the firmware.
Note:
If you narrow them down by specifying Terminal Type in the ATDL command, Analog 2MCs will be dis-
played per registered channel. Analog 2MC is capable of two channels, therefore, when those channels are
being used in an Analog 2MC, the same Analog 2MC is displayed twice in the box. To avoid setting upgrade
task to the target Analog 2MC twice, select either one of the two channels used in the Analog 2MC by
checking LENS.
STEP 7
Click the Close button to go back to the main screen.
STEP 8
Click the Exe button to upgrade the firmware to the target Analog 2MCs.
“Upgrade is succeeded” is displayed. Note that version information in the screen is not updat-
ed at this time. If the upgrade is failed, click the Close button, and then go back to STEP3.
STEP 9
After upgrade is completed, click the Close button. In the main screen, click the Exit button to
close the ATDL command.
STEP 10
To confirm the firmware, activate the DIPI command.
STEP 11
Select Media Converter in Functionality Type, and then click the Execute button.
STEP 12
Confirm that the firmwares in the appropriate ones are upgraded.
<Confirmation of Analog 2MC>
STEP 13
To confirm Analog 2MC is operating properly with the upgraded firmware, make a call to
the Analog 2MC. Check that you can hear RBT.s
STEP 14
Receive a call via the Analog 2MC, and confirm that you can talk to each other.
STEP 15
After all the tasks are completed, write down/label the firmware version in the back of the
Analog 2MC. For example, 2A is indicated for Version 2. 3A is indicated for Version 3.
